A. How do I wear my jewelry?
1. Open your inventory window. (Click the blue Inventory button on the bottom right.)
2. Find the folder in your inventory.
3. Right-click on the jewel and select Wear.

B. I can’t find the jewelry that I just bought in my inventory . Where are they?
1. First, be advised our jewelry is delivered in a folder. So look for a folder not an object.
2. Open your inventory window. (Click the blue Inventory button on the bottom right.)
3. All our folders have BJ as first letters or Burroughs. So just type BJ or Burroughs in the search box of your inventory to find everything you have purchased in our store.
4. If you can’t find your purchase after taking the above steps, please contact us.

C. My jewels are not positioned correctly on my avatar. How can I adjust their position?
1. First of all, you need a Posestand. You can use the iMix menu to get one. Rez the posestand from your inventory (drag and drop).
2. Right-click on the stand and select Stand on the pie menu. By clicking on our Pose Stand, you can cycle through several poses.
3. Now your avatar stands still. Zoom with the camera towards the jewel. You can do this by pointing with the cursor to the jewel, then holding the Alt-Button on your keyboard and clicking and holding your left mouse button and then slowly moving the mouse upwards and downwards. You can also do this by using the Camera Controls window, which is accessible within the View menu.
4. Now is a perfect time to create a backup of the jewel in your inventory, in case something goes wrong while fitting. Right click on the object in the inventory and select Copy. Then right-click again and select Paste. Of course this only works, if you have bought your jewel with copy permission.
5. Right-click on the jewel and select Edit on the pie menu. The jewel is now covered with blue and yellow lines and also three differently colored arrows appear (reg, green and blue). These three arrows are the directions in which you can move the jewel.
6. Now have to left-click and hold on one of the colored arrows, which is pointing in the desired direction, and then slowly move the mouse to bring the jewel to it’s new position.
7. To rotate the jewel, hold the Ctrl-key on your keyboard. The arrows are now replaced by three colored rings. Left-click and hold on on of the rings and then move the mouse slowly to rotate the jewel in the axis of the ring.
8. To scale the jewel , use the built in size adjustment feature. Since we only sell no modify objects you cannot scale the object in the edit menu. (See next question)
9. When you are finished close the edit window and stand up from the pose stand.

D. Second Life doesn’t let me teleport to some sims when I wear many jewels. What’s wrong?
When your avatar has too much objects attached which include many scripts, SL seems to have problem with teleportation. Therefore we boiled down the scripts in our jewelry to a small size which is suitable for teleportation even to the problematic sims. This does not hold for the size adjustment feature contained in our jewelry. Therefore it is recommended to use the remove/finallize feature to remove the resize scripts once you have set the perfect size for your avatar. Hint: If you own a copy version it is the right time to do a backup before removing the scripts. If you have a transferable version, and desire to exchange it for a copyable version, please IM or send a notecard to Antoine Burroughs.

E. How can I use the iMix functionality?
1. Be sure not to be on a no-script area. In order to use the iMix functionality, you have to be on a parcel where scripts are allowed.
2. Left click on the attached jewel or enter the command you are told by the jewel when putting it on. To prevent spam, this message is only displayed a couple of times.
3. A blue menu pops up which let’s you control and customize your jewel. Just click on the buttons to get a submenu or use a function.
4. It is advised to use our HUD which is a lot nicer to use. Try to find the HUD for this set in your inventory and wear it. If you lost it, you can let the jewel give you another HUD by using the iMix menu.

F. Why are so many color options on your jewelry? Gems, metals, pearls, etc… Other stores sell every color combination in single packages.
Because we want you to have flexibility. Have fun finding out your personal style with your unique combination. And don’t forget to always have a color chart nearby.

G. What does these @Set buttons mean?
This option makes it is possible to change a part of all jewels of the same set with one command. This saves you a lot of time.

H. What are bling styles and shapes?
In addition to switching the bling of the jewelry on and off, it’s possible with iMix to fully customize the bling. In addition to the color you can alter the shape of the bling (the kind of star reflection). Also it is possible to change the style of the bling (how much the bling sparkles)…the range is from a adorning sparkle to a firework of lightflares.

I. What is a poofer?
Poofer is a particle effect. You can turn on, off or change the different effects in the iMix menu (under Effects).

J. How can I remove the inscription? And what does the pivacy setting mean?
To remove the inscription, you have to use the Remove button in the Inscription menu.
With the privacy button, you can change if other avatars can “hear” the inscription too, or if it is only displayed to you.

K. Animations?
Yes! Use the menu to hug or kiss someone near you. And don’t forget to switch the sound on.

L. Can I get refund on copy allowed items?
We are sorry, but we are unable to refund copy allowed objects.
